BY TEXAS WEDDING AND ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER BRUNA KITCHEN PHOTOGRAPHY
Mia and Andrew got married during a beautiful spring day in McKinney, Texas. They family and friend came from all over the places to show their support and love. Their reception details had delicate tones of white, green and blacks. The bridesmaid wore blush pink dresses and the groomsmen went with grey suits. All came together with the beautiful tall trees as a background for the ceremony space.
It was important to Mia and Andrew to have a first look and a moment for themselves before the ceremony. Andrew couldn’t hold the tears when he saw his bride ready for the altar. They took the opportunity to express their love for each other and have some wedding portraits done.
The couple chose to have a sugar rubbing to honor the groom’s family Persian traditions. The tradition requires the women close to the couple to spread a cloth of unity over the couple’s heads, while sprinkling sugar and wishing sweet wishes to their married life. It was my first time documenting this incredible tradition and I can assure you it was nothing but beautiful. Also, take a moment to appreciate how cute their nephews looked carrying the rings. Absolutely adorable!!!
The wedding took place at the incredible Rosemary Barn. Scroll until the end of this post for the list of amazing vendors.
