Planning something like an elopement can add lots of stress if you have no one to guide you. That is why I am here! Let me give you some tips that can make your elopement planning much smoother.
Let’s start:
1 – Start putting together a mood board with the vision of your elopement day. Pinterest is a great platform for that. I promise it to you. You can add to your board EVERYTHING you dream about from florals to what to wear. It helps you to kind of visualize how you want things to go and from there what types of vendors you need to hire.
2 – Based on your mood board, start to research for the place you would like to elope at. The Mountains? The Beach? The Desert? What do you imagine when you close your eyes? You also want to check the weather of each place you have in mind so it is doable to elope there.
You want to find a place that means something to you and your partner, a place you have visit or even a place you always wanted to go but never could. Go adventure yourselves!
3 – Once you have some idea where and when you do want to elope, look for vendors that serve the area you plan to elope at. Vendors, especially photographers and planners should be able to help with permits and fees to elope in certain areas such as State and National Parks.
Your vendors can also recommend you where to book a hotel or airbnb, sometimes it is better to stay closer to where you want to elope in case you are having a sunrise elopement and sunset pictures. This way you can run back to the airbnb for a little break before sunset.
P.s: If you need a pro, I would love to be your elopement photographer and help with all that!!!
4 – Your vision comes to life and it is time to elope!
Fun fact about me: I eloped in Vegas back in 2015, we couldn’t wait to get married and we really didn’t want the stress of planning a traditional wedding and inviting people just because of our parents. It just didn’t make sense to us. So we only told our parents and very few of our close friends about the plans and ran to Vegas to elope.
That moment made me realize how much fun is to elope! We had the moment with just the two of us, we had it in our own way, it was full of love and the best part: it was stress free. That is exactly what I wish for my couples, to have a day that is about their love!
These are some awesome elopement planning tips! Thanks for sharing!
