Kristin and Reilly’s Carlisle Room Dallas wedding was a timeless celebration filled with emotion, elegance, and unforgettable energy. Their wedding took place during the first week of November, when Dallas fall weather is at its best. Because of this, crisp air, soft light, and clear skies created the perfect setting for their day.

Getting Ready in Downtown Dallas

Kristin began her wedding morning at The Statler Hotel, located just across the street from The Carlisle Room. From the start, the historic hotel offered beautiful natural light and a calm, welcoming atmosphere as she got ready alongside her closest people. Meanwhile, every moment felt intentional, unhurried, and full of quiet anticipation.

Reilly got ready at The Carlisle Room, soaking in the excitement of the day ahead. At the same time, the venue’s iconic Art Deco details set the tone early on and made the space feel special from the very beginning.

The Carlisle Room: A Historic Art Deco Venue

The Carlisle Room is a historic Art Deco wedding venue located inside the Lone Star Gas Building in downtown Dallas. The ballroom features soaring 20-foot ceilings, marble walls, and terrazzo floors. Together, these details bring vintage charm while still feeling refined and modern.

Additionally, one of the most beautiful aspects of the venue is how seamlessly it works for both the ceremony and reception. As a result, the day flowed naturally from one meaningful moment to the next.

Emotional First Looks

Before the ceremony, Kristin shared a heartfelt first look with her dad. In that moment, everything slowed as pride, love, and joy filled the room.

Soon after, Kristin and Reilly shared their first look together. They laughed, hugged, and took time to simply be present with one another. Because they chose to see each other beforehand, they were able to relax and fully enjoy the rest of the day.

A Timeless Wedding Design

The couple chose a clean, timeless design for their wedding. White and green florals filled the space and perfectly complemented the venue’s architecture. Rather than overpowering the room, the florals enhanced it and allowed the character of The Carlisle Room to shine.

As the evening began, the ballroom transformed. Kristin and Reilly shared their first dance, and almost immediately, the room buzzed with excitement. Once the DJ opened the dance floor, guests quickly joined in.
