A fall day in Dallas very often mean the sun will decide to stay behind the clouds, and it was not different during Mariclaire and Eddie’s engagement session. Although the sky was melancholy, that was not a problem for these awesome troopers. We were able to create super stunning images for their engagement session.
M and E wanted a session at the Arts District, a neighborhood that is part of their story where they have date nights. They wanted a location that was urban, but also had colors. We couldn’t think of a place better than the Arts District to have a fun sunrise fall session.
Engagement sessions are the best way for a couple to get images for their wedding website, save the date photos, also to know how do they feel in front of cameras before the big day. Not everyone has professional photos done often or even have had photos with their significant other before. So, I do recommend engagement session and I do promise it is absolutely priceless to have those keepsakes.
If you have been thinking when you should have an engagement session, I would say the spring and fall have the best weather for an outdoor session. Are you planing on having save the dates sent out? You probably want to book your session 12-10 months before you wedding. If you want have an indoor session, the time of the year shouldn’t be an issue. Just make sure you book your session in advance if you plan on printing the photos as save the date.
