Fall Engagement Session in Dallas | Arts District Engagement Photos
A fall day in Dallas often means the sun likes to hide behind the clouds, and Mariclaire and Eddie’s engagement session was no exception. The sky was moody and overcast, but that didn’t slow them down at all. Even with the melancholy weather, we created stunning images that perfectly reflected their connection.
Mariclaire and Eddie chose the Dallas Arts District for their engagement session. This neighborhood is part of their story and a place where they enjoy date nights together. They wanted a location that felt urban but still had color and character. The Arts District was the perfect choice for a fun fall session with a city feel.
Engagement sessions are one of the best ways for couples to get photos for their wedding website and save-the-dates. They’re also a great opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. Many couples haven’t had professional photos taken together before, so this time together is incredibly valuable. I always recommend an engagement session because these images become priceless keepsakes.
If you’re wondering when to schedule your engagement session, spring and fall offer the best weather for outdoor photos in Dallas. Planning to send save-the-dates? It’s best to book your session 10–12 months before your wedding. Indoor engagement sessions can be scheduled year-round, but booking early is still important if you plan to print your photos.
