Guess what?!? I decided to share with you a secret list with my 10 favorite hot spots to have your engagement session in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Urban or natural areas, WE GOT IT ALL!!! Are you excited? Because I am!
If you like urban areas with cute brick walls and nice coffee shops and plant shops, this is the place for you. Every street is cuter than the other, some areas also have very colorful murals. Address: 500 N. Bishop Ave, Dallas, Tx.
No place screams more Dallas vibes than Deep Ellum, trust me!!! The place has so many murals, it is the perfect spot for people that love and breathe art like I do. Address: 2913 Elm St, Dallas, Tx.
Prairie Creek it is not just like any other park, it has beautiful tall trees, a manmade water fall and super cute wooden bridges. The place is gorgeous during any season of the year, however my favorite time to go there is during the spring when the colors are starting to pop. The best time to shoot there is during the morning on weekdays. Address: 2400 W Prairie Creek Dr, Richardson, TX.
A little paradise in the middle of Grapevine that almost makes you forget that you are too far from the beach. This park particularly is one of my favorite, unfortunately it is the only one from the list that you will need a $50 permit to have your session done. Also, car fee to get into the park is $10 per car but this place is totally worth the cost. I would recommend having the session done during weekdays this way you can enjoy the best spots and avoid crowds. Address: Rockledge Park, 3600 Pilot Point, Grapevine, TX
White Rock Lake is famous for its beautiful views, from the Winfrey point side of the lake you can see downtown Dallas in the background. On the other side of the lake (Plaza Solana) there is a very charming pier. Perfect for a romantic date or even a surprise proposal. Address: Plaza Solana. White Rock Lake. Dallas, TX
Open fields, wild flowers, Fort Worth landscape view and very cute hills, this place has it all! The best part is, the access to the fields is easy and the sunset view is stunning. Address: 3225 View St, Fort Worth, TX.
Arbor Hills is a 200 acre preserve with beautiful fields and small charming hills. It is my favorite spot to shoot at sunrise time, because the light is always on point and hits between the trees. There is no permit needed to shoot there, there is also plenty space to park. Address: 6701 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX.
If you like a different type of session, the kind that feels more like a date than anything else, you’re gonna love this location. Denton Square is the best place to have a fun pizza date at J&J’S pizza, to pay a visit to a Recycled Books Records CDs, and maybe get some ice cream afterwards at Beth Marie’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream. Address: 110 W Hickory St, Denton, TX.
Absolutely my favorite beer and food truck park!!! It is also the best location to have a cold drink, play some games and exchange kisses. The place is full of art and vintage cars. The best part is, the place is dog friendly so you can totally take your puppy to be a part of your session! Address: 5959 Grove Ln, The Colony, TX.
Last but certainly not least, this location is stunning. The rocks around the creek give all sorts of great feels! The spot is always crowed during the spring and summer by evening and sunset time. I recommend have your session done during morning this way you get to enjoy the park and the whole experience. Address: 1400 Fuqua Dr, Flower Mound, TX
